Bone Health Fund

Arthritis Foundation of India wants to spread this Bone Health movement far and wide. For this we need more infrastructure, network and funds. 

AFI   borrows Bone Mineral Densitometry machine (BMD, equipment required for detection of Osteoporosis ) from either pharma  companies or Sunlight Company : These machines are lent to us for specific time and specific regions only. We are grateful to all the Pharma Companies &  Sunlight Company for their kind Cooperation.

But this does not ensure many under privileged  & other needy peoples' access to BMD. We plan to buy this equipment ourselves , so that it can be made available to the needy on a regular basis without waiting for the camps. 

This Bone Health Fund will go towards developing more infrastructure like  Mobile Vans, BMD Machines, trained staff etc so that we are able to reach out to a maximum of people in a strong way.

We have obtained  80(G) Tax exemption from the Income Tax Department.
